Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Forkt, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Forkt.

You need an account to use the app. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 to use Forkt. You can delete your account at any time from Profile, then Delete account.

The recipes, notes, and photos you add are yours. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only as needed to run Forkt for you, including sending them to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy.

When you share a recipe by link, anyone with the link can view it, and other Forkt users can fork their own copy. Copies already made stay with the people who made them, even if you stop sharing or delete yours.

Only import and share recipes you have the right to use. Recipes copied from websites or cookbooks may belong to someone else; keep them for your own cooking and don't share them as your own work.

• Don't use Forkt to break the law or to infringe anyone else's rights.
• Don't upload content that is abusive, hateful, or sexual, or that isn't related to food and cooking.
• Don't try to get around limits on the app, access other people's accounts, or disrupt the service.
• Don't use automated tools to scrape or overload Forkt.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Importing, quick changes, and calorie estimates use AI. They can get things wrong. Check ingredients, amounts, times, and temperatures yourself, and never rely on Forkt for allergy, dietary, or food-safety decisions. Calorie numbers are rough estimates.

Forkt is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or stop features over time. To the extent the law allows, Forkt is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms as Forkt changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Forkt after a change means you accept the updated terms.
